Once your order is placed, we follow up to collect the exact engraving details for your piece — no logo upload involved, since that’s handled separately with our team directly.
Text & Style Details

Label / wording
The actual text to be engraved — a recipient’s name, a category, or a short message.

Choose from Modern, Classic, Script, or Bold — shown on your proof regardless of which you pick.

Font size
We’ll recommend a size that fits your plate cleanly — request larger or smaller when reviewing your proof.

Colour
Matched to your chosen plate finish (Gold, Silver, or Black & Gold) unless you specify otherwise.

Text alignment
Left, right, or centred — centred is most common and is the default if not specified.
Plate & Medal Specifications

Confirms the vertical size of the engraving plate on your trophy or plaque.

Confirms the horizontal size of the engraving plate, so wording is laid out to fit properly.

Why Your File Type Matters
Not all logo files engrave or print the same way — here’s what actually makes a difference.
Vector vs. raster
A vector file (lines and shapes) can be scaled to any size with a crisp edge — a raster file (a photo-style image) can go blurry or pixelated when enlarged.
Resolution matters for raster
If a vector file isn’t available, a high-resolution image can often work — but low-res logos pulled from a website usually can’t be engraved cleanly.
A proof shows you the result either way
Whatever file you send, we’ll show you exactly how your logo will look engraved before any production begins.

A logo from your website, a scanned letterhead, or an old print file — send it through and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’ll work.

If your file isn’t vector, we can usually redraw a clean vector version from a clear enough image — this may add a day or two to setup.

What file format should I send my logo in?
A vector file (.EPS, .AI, .PDF, or .SVG) works best — it can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
I only have a JPEG or PNG — is that OK?
Often yes, if the resolution is high enough. Send it through and we’ll confirm before you order.
Can I send my logo from a Word or PowerPoint document?
It’s best to avoid this — logos pasted into documents are usually too low-resolution to engrave or print cleanly.
What resolution do I need for a raster image?
As a general guide, higher is better — an image pulled from a website is often too low-res, while one exported directly from design software usually isn’t.
Will my logo's colours be reproduced exactly?
Most engraving is single-colour, reproducing your logo’s outline and detail rather than its exact colours — your proof will show you exactly how it’ll look.
My logo has fine text or detail — will it still be legible?
Very fine detail can be difficult to reproduce at a small engraving size — we’ll flag this on your proof if we think it needs simplifying.
How do I send you my logo?
Email it to our team along with your order details — logo files aren’t submitted through the online order form.
Is there a cost to set up my logo?
No — cleaning up or recreating your logo for engraving is included free of charge, as a one-off setup step.
Do I need to resend my logo for future orders?
No — once it’s set up, we keep it on file and reuse it for every future order at no extra cost.
