Once your order is placed, we follow up to collect the exact engraving details for your piece — no logo upload involved, since that’s handled separately with our team directly.
Text & Style Details

Label / wording
The actual text to be engraved — a recipient’s name, a category, or a short message.

Choose from Modern, Classic, Script, or Bold — shown on your proof regardless of which you pick.

Font size
We’ll recommend a size that fits your plate cleanly — request larger or smaller when reviewing your proof.

Colour
Matched to your chosen plate finish (Gold, Silver, or Black & Gold) unless you specify otherwise.

Text alignment
Left, right, or centred — centred is most common and is the default if not specified.
Plate & Medal Specifications

Plate height
Confirms the vertical size of the engraving plate on your trophy or plaque.

Confirms the horizontal size of the engraving plate, so wording is laid out to fit properly.

Centre holder
For medals — the insert disc in the centre of the medal, whether a stock sport design or a custom centre.
Why Your File Type Matters
If you’re contacting our team to add a logo, not all file types engrave the same way — here’s what actually makes a difference.
Vector vs. raster
A vector file (lines and shapes) can be scaled to any size with a crisp edge — a raster file (a photo-style image) can go blurry or pixelated when enlarged.
Resolution matters for raster
Fine as long as it was exported from a vector source, not scanned or photographed.
Engraving is usually single-colour
Most engraving reproduces your logo’s outline and detail, not its original colours — send us your file as-is and we’ll confirm how it will look on your proof.

What file format should I send my logo in?
A vector file (.AI, .EPS, .SVG, or vector .PDF) works best — it can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
I only have a JPG or PNG — is that OK?
Often yes, if the resolution is high enough. Send it through and we’ll confirm before you order.
Can I send my logo from a Word or PowerPoint document?
It’s best to avoid this — logos pasted into documents are usually too low-resolution to engrave cleanly.
What resolution do I need for a raster image?
As a general guide, higher is better — an image pulled from a website is often too low-res, while one exported directly from design software usually isn’t.
Will my logo's colours be reproduced exactly?
Most engraving is single-colour, reproducing your logo’s outline and detail rather than its exact colours — your proof will show you exactly how it’ll look.
My logo has fine text or detail — will it still be legible?
Very fine detail can be difficult to reproduce at a small engraving size — we’ll flag this on your proof if we think it needs simplifying.

How long does logo setup take?
Typically 1–2 business days once we’ve received your file, ahead of the usual production timeline.
